I am a CNRS researcher at the [Laboratoire J. A. Dieudonné](https://math.unice.fr) in Nice, working on the **mathematical foundations of machine learning**.

My current projects include bilevel optimization, automatic differentiation, and the theory of AI alignment.
I have also worked on graph machine learning, optimal transport, proximal methods, and convex optimization for inverse problems.
I teach at [Université Côte d'Azur](https://univ-cotedazur.fr) and [École Polytechnique](https://www.polytechnique.edu), and hold a chair at [3IA Côte d'Azur](https://3ia.univ-cotedazur.eu).

I received my PhD from Université Paris-Dauphine in 2014 under the supervision of [Gabriel Peyré](https://www.gpeyre.com), and was a postdoc at École Polytechnique with [Antonin Chambolle](https://www.ceremade.dauphine.fr/~chambolle/).
I joined CNRS as a junior researcher in 2015, first in Dijon and since 2021 in Nice, and was promoted senior researcher in 2025.

Have a look at my [CV](/about/), my [publications](/publications/), my [talks](/talks/) and my [teaching materials](/teaching/).
Various other material (notes, tools, small projects) is listed on the [map](/map/) of the site.
